It is the CONCEPT that is important and its CONTENT that is of relevance in terms of it patentability; if they end up calling it something else, at least we already understand the basic concept, ie, inexpensively reaching millions of potential buyers for their apps
Well, the CONCEPT has been around for quite awhile. Not sure what it started out as, but it's become known as SPAM.
