Thats what a 10:1 split is, u get one share for every 10, and the price reflects the lower share count, you didnt have any appreciation, unless it went up above and beyond the 10:1 adjustment.
For example, 10 shares @ $1 = 10. 1 share @ $10 = 10. Now, if it went to $100, thats a 10 bagger post split.
