My dad told me once, the way to make a good business is to find a real need and fill it. In this case there just isn't a need for this to go "viral" and have everyone using it. There just isn't a need.
This is back to my other point about why the social media hasn't went "viral" with this and they have less than 500 likes on facebook. Million dollar plus promotion and they can't get 500 likes on facebook in a week? Makes no sense it tells me they are fighting to get people to look at this and people are just not responding. It's also reflected in the Hype and bubble burst stock chart. I've seen this happen more times than I can remember with new wonderware tech companies. That's when you wonder ware it went...
Remember for this to go viral it has to be easy to use, simple and brings you into the goings on. Anytime you put Jane Doe in front of a complicated event they get frustrated and leave. This is why Facebook won over MySpace. Simple issue of GUI design, nothing else. MySpace had so much more going on for it in the beginning and the idea of social media was born, but once a better GUI was shown to the people, the simple GUI wins. This could also be the death of facebook too one day. This happens in OSs, websites, tech, or any other item that has to be in front of the masses.
Let me show another... Twitter, Google Some of the largest mass used sites and how does the GUI function? Simple, Easy, Effective. You never seem to make a "mistake" and the masses love that.
I would love to look at the visitor stats and I would bet that the avg. visitor time is less than a min. People see it, maybe search for something, then give up. Why do I say that, I'm a tech savvy guy and I didn't figure it out in 2 - 3 mins, Jane Doe surely isn't... They will have to do a lot better on the GUI to get this into the hands of the normal "busy" person.
Hope you got out! Don't hold! It's going lower and lower each day. Use the money you cash out of it now to put back in it when it's less than a penny or close to it! you will have A LOT more shares if you do and a helluva lot better chance of making a lot of money off it!
