It might take longer than that but I think it will happen. We have all the ingredients in place to achieve success!

I said dec 6th because on that day marijuana becomes legal in washington state and Im not sure about colorado but its probably the same. soooo one would think there would need to be clarity before then. the good news is most of the counties in washington state have already announced they are dropping all former marijuana convictions :)

LOL, "I believe the courts will rule in favor of asa and reclassify cannabis now that two states have legalized. it will happen before dec 6th."

The Appelate court is not going to order reclassification, wrong type of court, if they do rule in the favor of ASA, they are only going to rule that the DEA must give consideration to ASAs petition, doesnt mean that they have to approve it, only hear it, there is another problem as well, seeing that the court asked for more information as to why the person that ASA used for standing in the case actually has legal standing to petition the court, and the fact that medical marijuana isnt legal in the State he lives in, the whole case could very well be tossed anyways, regardless though, its very unlikely they will issue any ruling this year, in fact, the courts order for supplemental briefing on the issue of standing will likely set any ruling back even more.

FYI, The Federal Appeals court rulings normally take 3 to 6 months from the end of the arguments and submitals.
