Why would they short it? They just sell the free or cheap shares to the market. If they short, then they have to produce the shares in days, then buy them back later and end up with the same shares they had on a worthless stock. Makes no sense to me.

As for Tom, he just prints more O/S....they are free for him. If he runs out, just raise the A/S and go on with the dilution.

No brainer in my book.
