Not possible to prove, since lying requires an intent to deceive at the time statement was made. Being wrong about a prediction or changing one's mind is not lying.

Ex. A man states he would never kill anyone and he is truthful. A couple months later, a terrorist starts spraying gunfire into a crowd. The man stops and kills the terrorist. So did he lie then two months earlier or did the situation just change?
