The S&P500 value for the Year To Date is actually through October 31st, so probably won't be the same as yours through the 5th of November. It's the gain for the time frame, not the dividend yield and doesn't include the dividends, either.

I'll be happy that the advertizing blitz will be over finally. That will be a relief no matter who wins.
