i would pull the troops back from afgan and start rebuilding our infrastructure instead of theirs. and reduce our overseas presence to a hand full of strategic places instead of the hundreds of bases now... we are paying for japan's security, for instance, but why? Does Australia REALLY need our bases to help to stave off the (well who knows who we are protecting them from)
