cassandra - I did a screen capture of the musicmatch recorder option dialog box - as you can see, there is an "artist" and an "album' option(which can be deselected, but these are the defaults).

Oddly enough, Apple chose Musicmatch as the music manager for its Windows-compatible iPod.
