So they are saying the Atom N570 gets SpecInt2K score of ~460. The 1.6GHz based on the original Silverthorne core gets 653. Not to mention compilers advance as time passes by. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets 800 now.

The Pentium M 1.6Ghz can probably get more than 1400 with the latest compilers.

Performance is much related to software as it is hardware. Having the latest Android versions are more than architectural differences.

If trying to give an example of x86 advantage, its that it has a mature software and compiler ecosystem to tweak performance from.
