We had a little discussion on laches back around Oct 3rd. It became a far bigger problem than I was personally thinking back then. I figured that was covered and the judge would decline to impose laches. So much for that line of thinking.
JJ: So you, too, believe that Jackson erred here? Clearly, well I'm assuming, that it was preserved for appeal, but I have to think that a favorable verdict and reasonable royalties will prevent an appeal from either party. GOOG will not want to readdress the laches issue, while VRNG likely just will be happy and want to avoid litigating everything over again risking all gained to this point.
