What you are talking about is news.

That's what I'm saying...to break the impasse, you need news.

The company is sort of telling us that they can't release big news (like a partner) until they get the cash. It's a chicken and egg problem.

Here's a notion that sides with TOB's point:

It might be more valuable to buy shares now and get the stock rights as that would be a sure thing (at least, we think so).

Whereas, since news can move the stock in the future, it might not be a sure thing to expect lower prices later.

The problem is, if people think that way, they will surely bid up the stock price now as they gobble up shares to maximize acquiring stock rights.

Will the increase in stock price due to the above gobbling up negate the value of those stock rights? In other words, is the stock too expensive relative to the value you get from the stock rights?

Rock, paper, scissors anyone?
