Are the API stores temp sensitive? Any mention of generator for refrigeration?

It is very hard to imagine that a minimal hurricaine which made landfall just south of Atlantic City would create so much havoc
so far away. For NYC to lose power while subways flooded and trees ripped down from the northwest side winds is just incredible.
I was just south of the eye. Did not lose power. No damage done either. Relatives in Long Island lost power phone and TV. Even cell phone was impossible due to overload and/or tower outages.
Glad North Vale was spared the brunt of this mamoth storm.
