No, what I said is not wrong, as your message shows.  The debt was not paid, as stated, and there is no evidence it was simply written off.  Consideration for cancelation of the debt was not stated, nor was it stated that there was none.  It was, as I said, a peculiar occurrence for the debt to disappear without any clear explanation.
