The Company was approached by Louisiana Economic Development (LED) to determine if we had an interest in building a pellet plant in their state. LED has presented us with a very attractive package which includes $26.3 million of estimated benefits if we located a plant in Louisiana. The Company’s management team has travelled several times to Louisiana to meet with representatives of LED. In addition we have met with potential fibre suppliers and various interested parties. As a result of a comprehensive assessment of the business opportunity we have decided to proceed with the development of a facility in Louisiana. In addition to the proposed plant in Baton Rouge we propose to develop a storage facility and chipping plant the Port of Natchitoches on the Red River. This facility will be constructed on a 50 acre site that will store logs prior to chipping and barging to the main plant in Baton Rouge.
