Sure at the macro level there are similarities. There are obviously differences at the signalling micro level that causes successful treatment in mice not being replicated in humans. I believe bavi does something, but I don't believe it will create the lasting immunity against cancer for what ever reason. I do believe bavi therapy could be an excellent addition to a cocktail of other immune therapy/chemo agents to create a better cancer treatment. There is great promise in bavi therapy- I just am waiting patiently for it to pass the first hurdle of getting a bp partnership and moving this program along. I've been in research and know how slow this process is- too slow.
