Here is the book that got me started on Vitamin C earlier this year. Further research on the internet got me into got me into fat soluble (liposomal) vitamin C and the water soluble pill form. In the recipe that uses baking soda, two tablespoons is way too much in my opinion, a 1/2 teaspoon seems to be enough to reduce the acidity. In the end of the process it should look like milk.

Liposomal encapsulated vitamin C: Vitamin C is mentioned in the book above, today we can make a 2 ounce homemade mega dose that is much more effective than the store bought water soluble. Fat soluble vitamin C where 6 grams homemade C is equal to 50 grams IV C or you could eat 300 oranges a day.....

Another recipe (uses baking soda) before the process..Two heaping tablespoons is way too much,I use 1/2 teaspoon. This works when I use it. For sodium restricted diets potassium bicarbonate can be used (can be obtained through nuts.com). http://www.pdazzler.com/archives/62
