I understand the increase is ? to shareholders. But all the explanations have been put out by the company in 10Qs and PRs. I'll sum up a few.

there is approx 1.7M left in CD, pretty small amount. IMO
Acquiring the mines around the mill, this will take the largest bite of the AS. How much? Not exactly sure. Will depend on the mines reserves, and greed of the owner.
The Financing will also take up some of the AS

Once the financing is finalized, you will see the PPS movements you were hoping for.

Not my first rodeo with companies getting financing. It can be time consuming to negotiate the details for both sides, as each side wants the most out of the deal struck!
