Please stop discussions about powerline! Powerline as often discussed on this board can serve as broadband network in inhouse applications. In Switzerland they stopped 6 months ago to try to establish powerline as a last "half mile" solution for unforseen technical reasons! Ascom a Swiss company together with Germanys largest electricity supplier ended the 6 year cooperation.
Hope this should stop the discussions about powerline as an Embarq competition.
