That's because negative people are better able to control their emotions since they haven't put money into a stock that stands a very good chance of disappearing at any moment.

I could not care less about who is positive or negative. Some people are positive and turn negative. Some are negative and turn positive. The TOS is blind to investment sentiment. My job is to enforce the rules of the site. Bans and restrictions are issued to those who can't or won't follow the rules.

The main rules are very simple.

A. Post about the stock or company.
B. Do not include comments about other members.
