There are tons of reasons for such a short delay, most are perfectly innocent. There is no need to think that everytime something is not 100% what you expect, it means something shady/horrible is happening.
EPGL is still a small company, with a small communication department (is it even more than one guy yet ?), it may be one dude who had another appointment, or somone who needed to check the answer to a question.
