Biotechs are halted just prior to the FDA releasing a decision . Sometimes good news , sometimes bad news. The over all market and especially Nano and Micro cap stocks have had really anemic volume this week.
I'm in a bio stock that was recently halted for good news then a few weeks later halted for terrible news. Share price dropped from over 5 bucks to around .75 cents when trading reopened. A real kick to the balls. Not sure if this stock would be halted for bad news at .18 cents because it doesn't have far to go, so I would think a halt in this stock would only be on good news. But I really don't know just throwing it out there.
