Can they open there books and keep them under wraps? Would be interesting if they filed a motion to keep them under seal.

i dont place any value in what Yahoo message board people say anymore.. I used to be on there several years ago but it was unmoderated and full of Pumpers and Bashers.

there was so much Fudd that it wasnt worth my time to read it all.

common sense would tell me that google is only going to put on the table what it is willing to lose.

take a leaf out of sun tzu's book.

they know they cant starve VRNG out now that VRNG has 55 million in cash.

they know that a frontal assault could be costly...
(googles legal team is no doubt much much bigger than VRNGs and they have probably spent 10s of millions already building a defence)

so the only option would be to try and negotiate a peaceful settlement.

opening their books could be the first step towards a peaceful settlement or just a way to limit the fallout from a nasty battle (ie triple damages)

either way.. they have been ordered by the court so they will comply... I doubt we will get to see a detailed break down of the numbers though because it will probably be kept under court confidentiality. All we will see is the number calculated by the damages guy and the number that comes out at the end.

question for ThinkingMan/All, for google not to disclose their US revenue per court ordered, do you thinks they dont have to if they decided to settled/buyout Vringo or going to trial and no one including IRS (Who's waiting with their hand rubbing back & forward to get a piece of this $$ LOL...)Vringo, judges wont see that number @all?
