Art
She is playing it by the book. Just as she said she would.

I found this interesting

"") There are definite and strict confidentiality agreements between the designated operators of a block and all their minority partners. Hence, ERHC is limited by confidentiality agreements not to discuss terms, possiblities or progress of the PSC/JOA negotiations.

I asked about CEO Sheffield of Pioneer openly discussing the potential barfels of oil, low risk and personal excitement about Nigeria deep ocean and JDZ blocks. She responded that the operator has that privilige and is supposed to be the one who can tout or publizise the possiblities. Minority partner companies such as ERHC are bound by confidentiality agreements.""

There shouldnt be any doubt who is running the show after these comments. IMO. I find that to be a positive. PL

Art...a very good synopsis of your discussion with Ms. Buks and your sharing it with fellow investors is much appreciated.

NWTF...I agree with you that it is a good thing that ERHC is following the wishes of the operating oil co. It makes stockguards mention of a LP deal seem that much more a possibility IMHO.

She obviously feels it's all moving forward with her pre-printing press releases at this juncture. PSC's aren't to be completed for another 5 or 6 weeks and she's already got PR's written....and has had time to re-write them????

This comment, "ERHC wants to keep itself "clean as a whistle" is somewhat questionable. I had to write the co to get the number of O/S corrected and after 3 weeks they corrected the cover page ONLY....and have failed to cover the incorrect number despite repeated attempts. That is worrisome to this writer. That said, why are they more interested in keeping their partners happy with quietness and less interested in reporting correctly to the SEC?

Also, how would Ms. Buks be able to prepare PR's when she even states "negotiations are ongoing". She even goes on to say she has put alot of efforts into what these PR's will say. Wouldn't that be somewhat difficult to do since the negotiations are still ongoing? I like the sound of that....as it could indicate there is news beyond that of the PSC's and JOA's.

Very positive IMHO Art. Again, thanks for posting the results of your discussion.

Art did you ask about the Mid-2007 Drill Schedules [reported by Anadarko / Centurion] or the potential impact of this awards investigation probe gathering momentum.

What was her overall feeling

Since she came on board the PPS has dropped 70%
We were better off with out her

- thanks for calling however

Glad to hear ERHE is holding carefully to the new rules about information dissemination. Just as they clearly and repeatedly indicated at the SH meeting, all new information will be released via the company web site, so that it is available to all simultaneously.

Personally, I would like to see those small unheard of companies that are trying to get a free ride (unlike ERHE that has been at work on this for a decade)kicked out of the process and awards. I do hope though the PSCs are still on track for B2-4, so we can get to drilling.

Why doesn't STP go ahead and work on getting our 100% blocks in the EEZ going. The sooner they let our future partners there drill, the sooner they can put the money to work for their country's people. Since Devon is out of the JDZ for now, they would be interested in partnering with ERHE in the STP EEZ.

I am tired of living in "The House of Pain", but fortunately I still have beer as an analgesic (not allowed to write for controlled substances for myself).
