Good news and bad news about being 90 (in the US):

The good news: more than half of this population can perform basic functions such as dressing and bathing without assistance. The bad news: 40% have cognitive difficulties. (If you thought the 40% number was even higher, then maybe this too is good news.)

NIH $36M* grant for large AD trial strikes me as stingy given the colossal medical need:
