Paulness, You asked the wrong question. The question is not "why can't CYGX make a vaccine for herpes?" The question should be, when will MERCK make a vaccine for herpes making all of CYGX'S work in that area a waste of time and money?

Why can't CYGX bring anything to fruition??? I'd take just one of anything they have promised over the years. All I've seen is dilution. That stinks; is that you again Mr. Kibbles???

A prevention vaccine against herpes is a great idea.
Actually, I think your post is important in principal.
If a dna vaccine works against a virus that causes a kind of cancer, then it might not be that hard to make such vaccines against other diseases caused by viruses. This is one more indication that we could be finally on the threshold of a major medical advance - perhaps even to rival chlorine in the water (a safe water supply).
