My second order of 6 sets are at UPS. Hey tried to delvr today but I wasnt home. From what have seen on ebay, the 69 grades are not getting the price to payoff the cost of grading. I think its mostly due to one seller with a ton of inventory who does not use a reserve and is willing to take what ever thwy bid it to. Wish he would sell out already.

I found out today the grades of 10 silver timberwolves I submitted to PCGS: four MS-65s, five MS-64s and a MS-63. The 10 coins were in a mint package just like this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=261088426148
They were in the thermotron package (read my item description) and I specifically checked them for any blemishes. In my opinion they were all MS-70s...but I'm not a professional grader. I will not be renewing my membership with PCGS as I don't think they are legit. I used up my 8 free gradings from last december's 25th anniv. silver eagle set(s) submittal. I was disappointed with the grading I got on them, and I am even more disappointed with these..I may give NGC a try in the future.

I also submitted 14 graded silver 1999-S statehood quarters(5) and mostly 25th anniversary silver eagles(9), to Great Collections for auction. They led me to believe that they would start the opening bid at 70% of appraised value, but instead started them all at $1.00. Unlike ebay you have to actually send them your coins to list. So I foresee being scammed out of my approximately $1500 woth of coins. It is my understanding that great collections is affiliated with PCGS. There is still 8 days to go on these auctions so perhaps I'm concerned for nothing. Links to my listings on great collections are available at:

Any bids you could throw my way are appreciated, and who know you could get a bargin...but in this case I hope not! (smile)
Incidentally I did see a 2011-P 25th Anniv. First Strike PR-70 reverse proof for sale, currently with a dollar bid. I think I'll bid on it. Still looking for a 2011-S 25th Anniv. FS MS-70 to complete my set of perfert MS/PF-70 25th anniv. silver eagles. I'll keep you posted...S~P
