Greetings from Africa to Umpolung, 4godnwv, Krysten and all of you! Umpolung, I am from Calgary, Canada, presently working for an oil company in Africa. I started my professional career as a project engineer with Esso/Exxon Canada.

In hot Africa, it is unlike celebrating Thanksgiving Day in the cool Prairie of Canada for the bountiful crop harvest.

Some of you may be wondering why Canada has our Thanksgiving Day on the 2nd Monday of October, whereas in the U.S. you celebrate it in November? - - - Since Canada is up north, cooler and we have a shorter planting season, hence harvesting our crops earlier.

I was hoping I could harvest my QOIL crop during this Canadian Thanksgiving Day, so that I can truly give Thanks! - - - Well, I guess I have wait until the U.S. Thanksgiving Day in Nov. to harvest my QOIL crop, and giving Thanks for the 2nd time? - - -However, I should give Thanks anyway, since I bought my QOIL shares on June 09, 2005 at $0.10 per share.
