GEOPETRO IPO update
good news, they will be raising over 35,000,000 us dollars
bad news, only the canooks will be able to get in initialy
i still plan to start a board even though we will not be able
to add more until they are listed on an american exchange
more good news, plan is to have american listing on amex or
NASDAQ LARGE CAP, yes i said LARGE CAP. the strategy to list
on the canadian market is because analysts will pay more
attention to a smaller 200,000,000 market cap company
they may have already priced the IPO, .TO does it about 2
weeks before. not like day before pricing, the IPO will be
over subscribed by a margin 2 to 1, over 100 funds of at least
500,000,000 in management were presented to during the
roadshow.
the guy in SF is very conservative, so the the broker in
fresno. the broker sayst this could be another, and i forget
the name, but if it is we will be looking at a 10 bagger
followed by a 5 bagger over the next 3-5 years
i whish we could all add more but i have a feeling this will
be a good company to get into even after the wait 'till the
american system next spring / summer
i did ask if there were any restricted shares for private sale
but alas there are none
