yes I think you have hit the nail on the head:

In think the problem of the chickenhawks who support this war are they actually think that Saddam is a threat to the US and have swallowed the administrations reason of the month for going to war.

all the arguments reduce to do you feel threatened or not and
would a war make you feel more threatened or not

its boils down to belief or politics or upbringing or whatever.

the anger from people who do not want war is because they feel more threatened by the results of the war

the anger from those who think a war will make them safer is because the anti war group is perceived to threaten their safety

and so it goes

To me both sides are equally supportable with available factual info. Why is Denmark on Bush's side?
