Awareness campaigns can be done for two reasons:

1) Dumping Stock

2) Creating Awareness About The Company

In reason 1, You get companies like PRTN, PUNL, SANP that were one thing a week ago and now are are another, have done a forward split of some ridiculous number and price themselves at what ever they choose on day one, typically with a paid MM like WDCO does for all of APS deals.

In reason 2, You get companies that have limited budgets that just want to see their shares traded as they approach, or become approached by potential suitors for expansion projects. One can not walk into a negotiation with a stock that doesn't trade if the intention is to use company stock to acquire assets or enter into joint-venture agreements.

Furthermore to reason 2, it also attracts those who are interested in actually purchasing rights for a company's technology or equipment to use for areas or projects which have revenue generating potential. A good example of this is how a distributor of a beverage will get one free bottle for every case they purchase, or how a farmer can only sell his crops to one vendor.

The example may seem off-target for what GCEI does, but in most cases like this, it is simply to create awareness for the sector players who will likely be the ones who will fund projects for GCEI int he future or attempt to negotiate to purchase rights to their technology/products based on proof of life.

LQMT was an example of this how in 2009 awareness brought the attention of APPLE and $20 million their way in 2010.

AHP seems adamant that since GCEI was their pick and many piggy backed to follow them, they aren't the circuit type of awareness group who would whore out themselves for a buck knowing that once a stock hits the circuit, it can only go south due to the flippers.

LONG GCEI - Could care less about AHP or any other awareness sites. Just feel comfortable its AHP behind GCEI and not some "good news only" fluffers.
