"by invading "evil doer" nations [we] lose a piece of our soul"

No, its just the opposite.
or
It seems that until an "evil doer" does it evil to your home,
that you are willing to accept its existance as having a right
to exist, like everyone else.

Note i mention nothing about you taking up arms against it,
as that depends on your ability or survival versus those that
are now having the evil done on them, but that i point out
your notion that "evil doer" have a right to life.

They don't, and note also "a right to life" in my view does NOT
mean death to them, but seperation from people.

Place them all on a small island in the middle of the ocean
with a tall gate preventing them to escape or contact the outside.
Yes, provide them with water, food & shelter.

Only outright kill "evil doer" in self defence, as in a war,
but when an "evil doer" is killing innocents, then if possible
help stop that activity with action or words of support to others
that have the means. If not, you are next.

Mainehiker,

i was a little surprised at first that Bill Gross would write against the war, but looking over his and Paul McCulley's writing lately, i think they both were hinting at having reservations about an Iraqi conflict.

I wonder how much heat Pimco will receive because of Gross's comments...
