I am aware of that. I'm referencing the people talking like they are going to short this thing here or even like they were going to short over the past couple weeks. Not possible for the public at least.
The public may have gotten some shares to short a while back through certain brokers only; but most of the shorted shares are likely brokerages, firms/institutions, banks etc...
