having once worked for a wholesaler i can tell u margins are thin.
on brand u make money on payment terms and floats. once interest rates start increasing more money will flow into abc, mck, and cah.

in the us doing biz with independents ie selling generics is most profitable segment.

i dont c how wag will get better pricing given they were a leading purchaser in the us.
