There is no bid/offer because there is no central quotation. You could bid at .10 and trades could be done at .05 without you being filled.
Look again at those greys, the ones with volume are foreign stocks listed on an exchange and or preferred/units of large listed corporations. Stocks booted from the OTC will have volume the first little while and then it drys up and the stock becomes illiquid, that happens every time. Just do some basic research and you will find that out.
