I would have interpreted "intrim" as MOS data not being the final. If the word was used to cover the possibility of this mess, "preliminary" would have been a proper word.

You don't halt your stock for a positive material event with intermediate data only to find errors a few days later on the most important trial of the company's lead candidate. The entire company's future was riding on this data, IMO.
