What I have been told by BLTA mgmt is that a FULL "C" check is not required again. It is some lesser version that should not be as extensive and expensive as the first one. Not sure what that really means, but that's what I was told.
Maisy1...lots of man hours and it can run 150K-200K in parts...parts are time limited and need to replaced even if the aircraft hasn't flown...plus since Baltia owns the aircraft the "C" check will have to be done in accordance to Baltia's maintenance manuals (program) for that aircraft, but the rub is that are far as we know those manuals have not been approved yet...hurdles and more hurdles!!
