That's my concern here. Works more slowly than the injection, and much more expensive than the generic pill. So sort of a niche product for people who don't want an injection and also have problems with an oral dosage form because of nausea or gastroparesis. I suppose it's possible that you get less recurrence because of a different PK, but I haven't seen any data on this.despite
Part of the issue is that sumatriptan is far from the best triptan despite being the market leader - it's amazing what being first can sometimes do. Presumably this company could do a Maxalt version too - it's not far off from patent expiration.
