NO! I don't think New Orleans was bad. It wasn't even remotely bad. Because what you mean by bad is government troops forcing X, Y or Z. There was virtually ZERO of that except in your fantasies. The only government troop issues is how many lives they saved or how many mouths they fed or how many dead bodies the gathered up. Suggesting anything else is offensive and INSANE!
As to being quarantined. Would I like it. Hell no. But, would I like YOU being quarantined IF you had the disease? Double Hell YES! The issue is NOT whether you like it or I like it, but whether society determines that it is essential to avoid ALL of us getting the disease. Clearly, you are incapable of thinking beyond your own little body to the betterment of society. If the US has an outbreak of Bird Flu, there is ZERO alternative except forced quarantine. The alternative is we all die. But, as usual, you don't want to deal with the alternatives - which are far worse. You just want to deal with your own little isolated "rights".
It doesn't matter though. You won't matter when it comes down to it.
