WELCOME TO IHUB and APDN, Honored APDN is your first post. Process does not fully have to be disclosed. I posted the patents shown by the lawsuit filer. I can find and re-post. It's the Plantiff that has to show his case. Those patents were very, very vague, it would be like you putting in a patent application for a spaceship capable of going to Neptune, propelled by a chemical or chemicals found on earth. If someone in the world comes up with such a thing within 20 years, you can claim they infringed on your patent, since you mentioned a spaceship and Neptune first.

Here's a copy of the lawsuit, txsandhauler: http://www.scribd.com/doc/103837022/Smartwater-v-Applied-DNA-Sciences

and the patents themselves: http://www.google.com/patents/US5605650

there are hundreds if not thousands of FLUORESCENT detection machines, scanners, etc., to detect everything from leaded solder, which is no longer allowed commercially, only the military has a waiver, since it is so brittle, can't take battlefield vibrations, to detecting gases, to even handheld heat detection for heat-loss in buildings or firefighters. They have picked APDN because of the expected millions of dollars in revenue.
