That's corect. Both can be true. If you want to buy millions of shares but every million in buys drives the price way up, you have to force it down.

Profit taking... Will always happen but will happen with more frequency until the available float has been reduced and the PPS can be supported by incoming cash flow from new investors... Not just trading in ranges by the same shareholders. Just my opinion.

Someone might sell a bunch of shares quickly just to exit a position for cash... To me, that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the company...but it happens.
