Gosox. It appears to me that Costco has told MDHI to be quiet about two things. 1) Details of product sold and 2) Details about the fall promotion.
Here are my thoughts. I too would like to have the actual numbers of Costco product being sold. Let's remember that this is a monthly service and not just a product that sells once. Each sale builds upon the other and creates a monthly recurring revenue base. Even at 50 units per week, which I think is very low currently, the company goes profitable pretty quickly. This is especially true considering the additional sales to distributors, over the Internet and international.
I have a lot of experience in dealing with very large companies. Large companies like act like they are in charge and it just is not wise for their smaller partners to discuss the larger partner's business. I suspect this is the case currently occurring. I think we'll see the Fall promo in the Fall and I'm guessing it will start within the next couple weeks. Today is the 1st day of autumn so I suspect we'll see you soon.
Costco is the 2nd largest retailer in the US and very powerful. They clearly like the product and have placed it very prominently on the costco.com site. MDHI had a lot of inventory on the shelves and publicly announced that they would have to buy more because they were concerned about running out as the Costco promotion kicks in. That's about all I need to know. I have confidence that things are going well and because this is a monthly recurring revenue model will be moving into profitability very soon.
It is something that most pink sheet companies never have the opportunity to even get close to, but we are almost there. Considering the $3 million market, we are going to move a lot higher.
MDHI is well positioned here and are we investors. Congrats to all who own this - good job.
