she also said we are so lucky Mitt is available to run and help this country in such an important election. Plus I'm sure she thinks it's her turn and "you people" are not helping

Ann Romney Cancels Interviews After Iowa 'Stop It' Meltdown

The wheels of the Romney campaign are flying off. The 'secret weapon' of the Romney campaign has apparently imploded. The plan to use Ann Romney 'sparingly' looks like it will be reduced to 'not at all' as this arrogant, entitled woman continues to show the Romneys' true colors.

Ann Romney took the opportunity in the Iowa interview to berate voters, Republicans, America, party loyalists and strategists, who don't seem to appreciate how lucky they all are that Mitt is in the race.

“Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring. This is hard and, you know, it’s an important thing that we’re doing right now and it’s an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt’s qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country.”

The campaign seems to have gotten a clue and realized that Ann needs to step away from the microphone.

In Omaha for a closed to the press fundraiser for her husband Friday, Mrs. Romney was supposed to give interviews to several reporters but canceled due to the controversy over her blow up at Republicans on a radio interview, in which she ordered Mitt’s Republican critics to “stop it.”

Omaha.com reports:

Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, made an appearance Friday at an Omaha-area fundraiser for her husband.

She had scheduled interviews with The World-Herald and other reporters but canceled after controversy erupted this week over her comments to a public radio station in Iowa about her husband's Republican critics.

She appeared at the luncheon, $250-per-plate fundraiser at the Embassy Suites and La Vista Conference Center. The event was closed to reporters.

Well, with their best spokesman unsparingly overused, they now go to Plan C? Too bad Seamus isn't available.

Um. Maybe not.

6:21 PM PT: I should have added that last week Ann Romney did an interview with a local Fox affiliate in Colorado, where she said that 'Mitt does not disdain the poor'. The campaign posted a video of it on their website, then realized about 20 minutes later how awful it sounded and removed it. So that incident as well probably was influential in this decision to cancel interviews while she has more appearance training, or is retired.
