not exactly, I'd say make the same money maybe more effectively, well, this is not invariably the case!
there is no need to search any stocks, o.k., but the market is berry bollocksed, damn he's so nasty, he knows you are on his side and he doesn't hesitate to kill you, if he can...
the options I used to trade are 'knock-outs', either charting results and predicted market movement are correct or position is melting rapidly, disappearing in a flash. So risk level is high and it's not easy to place the trade, sit back and enjoy, because market makes you believe things, which are not real, he obviously goes in a direction and always makes you believe, he might change it in a matter of minutes or even seconds, he's a master of cheating, swindling, gives you the runaround... all day long...
if you think you are sure he's altering the course, you place the knock out near the point of inflection for good profits, because you step in at the beginning of a new movement, suddenly he kicks out in the opposite direction like a wild horse, because he knows you are there... or rather the strike of the option...
@smoky, you still remember him? he was in raptures over trading those knock outs, scenting good profits... he was 'long' on gold ($GOLD can chart it in SC) with multiple calls for some weeks up to now, LOL, I guess he slept quite fitfully last weeks, he was often charting and observing after work, around the clock... he sold yesterday the whole stake and cashed out with around 800% or so... awesome! well, I don't have the guts for holding for weeks, just trading intraday...
