Loss of equity in RE is something investor/traders in the SM go through everyday. Especially in the recent RE crash where 8/10 were using "stated income" mortgage products and putting very little skin in the game. This was earned cash not borrowed.
Also suspension is a bit different no? Record number of suspensions by SEC? So a record number of co just started doing fraudulent acts or easier to explain that SEC was cleaning house and bumping their numbers for the 2013 president?
