In order for an attorney to appear Pro Hac Vice, that attorney must be sponsored by a local attorney that is within usually 50 miles (could be 100 depending on the local rules) from the courthouse. Local counsel must file a certificate with the clerk. That got done and the judge signed the Order allowing the appearance. Not a biggy.
Motion also didn't contain the atty's bar number, sig, and applicant's sig.
Google gets a little more time to resubmit one of their bs hail marys not the big prior art or summary judgement some motion #247...2 of Vringos/witnesses left some silly line blank on their application and have to fill in the blank and resubmit....non events all around. A ton of ad hoc witnesses and secret sealed documents also filed.
