I completely agree... but it is ( as it should be ) there last resort if they feel they are being undervalued in a major way. There comes a time in every field from athletes, products, electronic devices and yes.... new drugs, that exceed and excel significantly and warrant a premium.
I still don't believe most people realize ( other than those keeping an eye on this stock for many years ) that if Bavituximab continues to impress and provide top-line MOS on multiple solid tumors.... its going to replace not just Avastin for standard of care but others as well. BP's are not just going to offer their highest final price on 1st.. .2nd... or 3rd go around, its just the way negotiations go.... but in the end, they will go fine and I don't believe they will need to go it alone.
We are almost there... I just wish that some party involved ( maybe an opposing BP would leak something out? ) to force a higher price from someone else.... there are just too many variations to factor in at this point but I will predict right now that this week coming up something will get leaked out from one of the many parties involved.
