True enough, but that depends on someone actually reading it and acting upon it instead of some kind of bot scanning the email for recognizable keywords and trashing it if it doesn't find any. I'd be curious to see how the outgoing email asking about the product was worded. Maybe the OP can copy and paste that here with personal data removed. Maybe the board can work together and write up some product request form letters of their own that people can copy and past en masse. Sort of like a political letter writing campaign.

I think people asking and emailing stores is a great idea to signify demand, but I think people also have a distorted idea of how much impact they can make doing that in relatively small numbers. It's not a wasted effort and its admirable, I just hope more people follow through with doing it and that it really has the desired effect. Nothing would make me happier than seeing this company be a smash success - provided they are being forthright with their investors.
