I think you mean "sued." Cases are frequently settled to save attorneys fees which can be very costly to defend a case. You can no infer guilt just because someone wants to save a buck! I don't see the word "convicted" of fraud or theft. If the SEC or District Attorney could prove a case I am sure it wouldn't have been settled. If you have proof Reid is a convicted felon then show us the link.
