You hit on something in your post that I don't seem to understand:

The military uses green lasers, and has contracts with all kinds of companies to buy them.
The LEI Laser Dazer has been around for a couple of years.

Why isn't the military buying and using the LEI Laser Dazer?

Seems like a disconnect somewhere. Are they not available, too expensive, vapor ware? What?
